Convert Media Inc ("Convert Media," "we," "us," or "our") operates howtouseaibook.com and the pages that link to this policy (collectively, the "Site"). This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect, how we use and disclose it, and the choices available to you when you browse the Site, purchase the ebook, or contact us.
Information you provide. When you purchase the ebook or request support, we may receive your email address, order and transaction identifiers, correspondence, and any information you choose to include in a message to us.
Payment information. Stripe collects and processes payment-card and billing information on our behalf. We do not receive or store your full card number.
Information collected automatically. Our hosting provider and, when you permit optional advertising measurement, our advertising partners may receive information such as your IP address, browser and device characteristics, page URL, referring URL, approximate location derived from IP address, timestamps, and interactions such as page views, checkout initiation, or a completed purchase.
We use information to operate and secure the Site; create and verify orders; deliver the ebook and payment receipt; respond to support requests; prevent fraud and abuse; maintain business and tax records; measure Site and advertising performance when permitted; and comply with applicable law. Depending on where you live, our legal bases may include performing a contract, complying with law, our legitimate interests in operating and securing the Site, and your consent for optional advertising technologies.
Payments are processed by Stripe, Inc. Stripe may process your payment details, email address, IP address, device information, and transaction data under its own terms and privacy policy. After Stripe confirms a successful payment, we use the email associated with the Stripe transaction to send the ebook and receipt. We do not place your email address in the thank-you-page URL. Review Stripe's Privacy Policy for more information.
Essential technologies support core functions such as security, checkout, fraud prevention, and remembering your privacy choice. These functions cannot always be disabled through our Site controls.
Optional advertising measurement helps us understand campaign performance and attribute visits or purchases to advertising. On supported Site pages, Meta and Yahoo advertising measurement is disabled by default and is loaded only after you select "Accept Optional Tracking." Selecting "Essential Only" keeps those optional technologies disabled. Your choice is stored in a first-party cookie for up to 180 days unless you clear it sooner.
Meta. If you accept optional tracking, the Meta Pixel may record page views, checkout-related interactions, and verified purchases. Meta may combine this information with information it already holds and process it under the Meta Privacy Policy.
Yahoo. If you accept optional tracking on the main $39 offer, the Yahoo Dot may record landing-page activity and a verified purchase under Yahoo pixel ID 10221003. Our staged implementation does not intentionally send your email address or phone number to Yahoo. Yahoo may process device, browser, network, page, and event information under its privacy terms.
Advertising partners may use cookies or similar identifiers to measure, attribute, limit, and report advertising. Their handling of information is governed by their own policies and settings. We do not sell personal information in exchange for money; however, some laws may define advertising disclosures or cross-context behavioral advertising as a "sale" or "sharing." The controls below are intended to let you opt out of our optional advertising measurement.
Current browser setting: Checking your saved choice…
We recognize a browser-enabled Global Privacy Control signal for optional advertising measurement on supported pages. When that signal is detected, optional advertising measurement remains disabled even if an earlier first-party choice indicated acceptance.
You can also manage advertising choices through Yahoo Privacy Choices, the Yahoo ConnectID Opt-Out Portal, the Digital Advertising Alliance WebChoices tool, and Meta Ad Preferences. These controls may be browser- or device-specific, and clearing cookies may reset a saved Site choice.
We may disclose information to providers that support hosting, payment processing, email delivery, security, fraud prevention, analytics, advertising measurement, and professional services. We may also disclose information when required by law, to protect rights or safety, in connection with a corporate transaction, or with your direction or consent. Providers receive information only for the functions they perform, subject to their contracts and applicable law.
We retain information for as long as reasonably necessary for the purposes described above, including fulfillment, customer support, security, dispute resolution, accounting, tax, and legal obligations. Retention periods vary by data type and context. We may retain de-identified or aggregated information where permitted by law.
We use administrative, technical, and organizational safeguards designed to protect information, including HTTPS and payment processing through Stripe. No system or transmission method is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.
Depending on your location, you may have rights to request access, correction, deletion, portability, restriction, or objection; to opt out of certain advertising disclosures; and to withdraw consent without affecting prior lawful processing. You may also have the right to appeal a denied request or complain to a privacy regulator. We may need to verify your identity and may retain information where an exception applies.
To submit a request, email support@howtouseaibook.com with the subject line "Privacy Request." Authorized agents should identify the person they represent and provide appropriate authorization. We will not discriminate against you for exercising applicable privacy rights.
Convert Media and its service providers may process information in the United States, Canada, and other countries where privacy protections may differ from those in your jurisdiction. Where required, we rely on lawful transfer mechanisms or other safeguards.
The Site and ebook are intended for adults and are not directed to children under 18. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided information to us, contact us so we can review and delete it as appropriate.
We may update this Privacy Policy to reflect changes in our practices, technologies, or legal obligations. We will post the revised policy on this page and update the "Last updated" date. Where required, we will provide additional notice or obtain consent.
